Setting up Your Camera with the YI Home App:
- Install the App: Download the YI Home app and create an account.
- Turn on the Camera: Open the YI Home app, click the icon on the top right corner to add your camera.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password, then connect to Wi-Fi.
- Scan QR Code: Use the app to scan the QR code on your camera. After scanning, click "Next."
- Complete Pairing: Save the settings and click "Start Using" to finish the setup.
- Connection Troubleshooting: Press the reset button if the connection fails, and try again.
Wi-Fi Settings:
- Wi-Fi Band: The camera supports only 2.4GHz networks, not 5GHz.
- Location Service: Activate your phone’s location service if you encounter an SSID problem.
- Encryption Mode: Set to WPA/WPA2 or WPA2 for network security.
- Wi-Fi Password: Must be between 8 to 20 characters.

Great camera! The picture quality is good and it was easy to setup on wifi.. Audio works well too.
This camera is easy to set up with the app. I have three of these now, all connected to the same app. The wall-mount bracket comes with if needed.
